A Snow Goose spent some quality time at Horseshoe Pond in Concord, NH on 04-11-14. Then, a small flock was found on Crete's South Field in Boscawen, NH on 04-13-14. In with this group was an adult Dark Morph Snow Goose. Of all the many Snow Geese I have seen over the years, this was the first Dark Morph!
On a gray overcast rainy day, photographing flying Snow Geese was quite a challenge. This is one specie that a crisp winter day with a deep blue sky would lend itself quite nicely to their photographing .
