Live Edged Beech Crotch
This bowl is one of my favorites. It is crotch wood, or stated otherwise, the "crotch" of two trunks of a tree. Picture a "V", the bottom of the bowl would sit in the upper part of the "V".The wood is the same color on both sides, but due to the relfective nature of the grain, it appears to be two different colors.
